PRO services in Dubai are the people who run your company's government paperwork. PRO means public relations officer, and the job is filing: new visas, renewals, Emirates IDs, the establishment card, licence renewals, amendments and cancellations. Setup agencies publish monthly retainers of about AED 1,000 to AED 6,000, or per task prices, and government fees always come on top.
How much do PRO services cost in Dubai?
Two agencies publish PRO price lists:
- Monthly retainers: about AED 1,000 to AED 6,000 a month (published prices of 2 agencies, checked ).
- Per task: about AED 150 to AED 1,500 per task (published prices of 2 agencies, checked ).
The low end of each range comes from an agency that quotes AED 150 to AED 500 per task and a small company retainer from AED 1,000. The high end comes from an agency whose per task fees start at AED 1,500 and whose retainers run up to AED 6,000. Both say government fees are extra. These are their published prices, not ours.
What do PRO services in Dubai cover?
What a PRO typically handles for a free zone company:
- Investor, partner and employee visas, new and renewal (investor visa, employee visa)
- Family visas for owners and staff
- Emirates ID applications and biometrics bookings
- Establishment card issue, renewal and amendment
- Licence renewal with the free zone (free zone license renewal)
- Licence amendments: activities, shareholders, manager, name
- Visa cancellations and company closure files
- Document attestation and translation
Which government fees come on top of PRO charges?
A PRO quote has two parts, and the larger one is often the government side. ICP alone charges AED 100 to apply, AED 100 to issue and AED 100 for smart service on an entry permit. The establishment card renewal carries a AED 1,000 system subscription. A change of status is AED 500. Free zones then add their own fees: Meydan lists AED 4,000 and RAKEZ AED 4,520 for an investor visa. Ask for receipts for every government payment.
Should you pay a PRO per task or on a retainer?
Work it out from your own year. Write down what you expect: how many visas to file, how many renewals, any amendment. A sole owner with one visa and a yearly licence renewal might need three or four tasks, and per task pricing at the lower end of the range is hard to beat. A company hiring every month, with visas coming up for renewal through the year, gets better value from a retainer, as long as the contract lists which tasks it covers.
Do you need a private PRO if your free zone has a service desk?
Many free zones sell some services themselves. Meydan sells a dependant visa service at AED 6,000. SPC and Expo City list AED 2,000 each for bank account help. These are convenient because the zone files its own system. A private PRO can be cheaper, or can do things the zone desk does not, like attestation outside the zone. Get both prices before choosing.
How do you compare PRO companies in Dubai?
Ask each one the same four questions. Do they file in your free zone often, or mostly on the mainland? Which tasks does the price cover, line by line? How long does each task take, in writing? And how do they show you the government receipts? A cheap quote that cannot answer these is not cheap.
How we connect you with a PRO
Send us your zone and the tasks you expect over the next year. We pass it to a licensed partner who works in that zone. They quote one total, per task or monthly, with government fees and service fees shown apart, before they start. We are an independent directory, not a government office or a free zone.
What documents will a PRO ask for?
- Copies of the licence, MOA and establishment card
- Passport, visa and Emirates ID copies of the people involved
- Portal access, or a signed authorisation to act for the company
- Payment for government fees, ideally against receipts
How to get started
- List this year's tasks and dates: renewals, hires, changes.
- Ask for a per task price and a retainer price for the same list.
- Check which government fees are included and which are extra.
- Agree how you get receipts and status updates.
- Hand over documents and portal access for the first task.
What mistakes do people make with PRO services?
- Signing a retainer without a written list of what it covers.
- Paying government fees in cash without receipts.
- Handing over original passports when a copy would do.
- Letting a PRO hold the only login to your free zone portal.
- Comparing a quote with government fees against one without.
The fees that surprise new owners are on free zone hidden costs. For changes to your licence, read license amendment. Fill in the form here with your task list and a partner sends a price.
